Because of the exclusive patented design, this is accomplished without the use of onboard battery driven pre-amps. The pickups are manufactured using rare-earth magnets and are assembled by hand at the APC manufacturing facility. This assures total control over the tone, balance, output and dynamic potential of each and every APC pickup. The unique patented design assure a very efficient magnetic circuit resulting in almost complete elimination of 60 cycle hum and coil-related microphonic feedback.
